Scantrust App (as opposed to Scantrust Enterprise App) can be accessed by anyone as no login is required by the app itself. Brands using Scantrust, may impose restrictions as to what information is displayed to a person scanning with the Scantrust App.
A Brand may choose to
- allow or deny consumers to authenticate the code
- allow or deny consumers to verify the code
- allow or deny consumers to view certain SCM parameters
- allow or deny consumers to view product information
- allow or deny consumers to view promotional material
