Under the former U-label platform, any sulphite-related substance was automatically indicated in the list of ingredients through the generic term "sulphites", as permitted by the EU regulation.
Now, under U-label by Scantrust, you can choose to either indicate the generic term (sulphites) or the precise name of the substance used (sulphur dioxide, potassium bisulphite, potassium metabisulphite,...)
By default, all e-labels previously created under U-label and migrated to U-label by Scantrust will, when appropriate, display the generic term "sulphites" in the list of ingredients. Should you wish to update these e-labels to indicate instead the precise additive that you have used, you can edit them and they will be instantly updated, without modifying the corresponding QR code.
