When scanning for Make Ready, the app performs an initial check on the quality of the print of the QR code (not the Secure Graphic). If the print is outside the optimal, the app previously rejected the scan completely without even trying to check the print quality of the Secure Graphic.
It is now possible for the printing operator to manually adjust the quality threshold without involving Scantrust.
- click on the 3 dots in the upper right corner
- click on "Adjust parameters"
- set the threshold adjustment of the value
- then click SAVE
NOTE: We recommend you first set the adjustment to -1, if you still have the issue then set it to -2, and so on, until you find the adjustment that allows the scan to be accepted.
A scan being accepted at this stage does not automatically mean that the Secure Graphic is acceptable. Please be diligent with your QA processes.
