New Feature: Generic Template for Food and Beverage products (other than Wine, Aromatized wines and Spirits)
You can now create e-labels for food products and other beverages using the new “Other” template.
We kindly remind you that the list of ingredients and nutritional information may be communicated through digital labels on a voluntary basis, but remain mandatory on physical labels.
Please ensure that the information provided to consumers is accurate and consistent with the physical label.
Key features of the new template:
- Custom fields: Easily add custom fields and translations for your specific product information.
- Ingredients List: Free text field to communicate your ingredients list and indicate allergens and organic ingredients.
- Nutrition Information: Use the EU standard nutrition information table (which includes all nutrients, vitamins, and minerals) or upload an image of your own nutrition table instead of entering all data manually.
- Free Section: A new section is available for you to provide consumers with additional information.
- Bulk Upload: Data bulk upload is supported for this new template, if you are on an Enterprise plan.
Duplicate a product with the e-label data:
We've made it even simpler to copy your existing products! You can now duplicate a product and automatically copy all of its associated e-label information, translations, and current status.
- Click on the option button next to the product you want to copy
- Select “Duplicate Product”
- Edit the name, SKU, and image of the new product and click SAVE
Text around the QR code - Updated GTIN format:
To ensure clarity and compliance, we now include the Application Identifier “(01)” before the 14-digit number to clearly identify the product's Global Trade Item Number (GTIN).
