A CSV (Comma-Separated Values) file is a simple and widely used format for storing tabular data. Each line in the CSV file corresponds to a row in the table, and each field in that row is separated by a comma (or another delimiter, such as a semicolon or tab)

CSV files are often used for exchanging data between different applications. For example, databases and contact managers often support CSV files. The idea is that you can export complex data from one application to a CSV file, and then import that same data into another application.
