• 1 QR code per SKU?
• 1 QR code per SKU per Vintage? 
• Multiple QR codes per SKU per Vintage? 

There is no single right answer as it all depends on your operations: 

Example 1: 

1 QR code per SKU? (for many years): if the ingredient and nutrition information is the same every vintage and within the vintage, then in theory, the same QR code could be used every year. 

Example 2: 

1 QR code per SKU per Vintage? 

• If the ingredient and nutrition information is the same for every bottle and within the vintage, then one QR code per vintage is sufficient.
• If the vintage is displayed on the label.
•  

Example 3: 

Multiple QR codes per SKU per Year

• If there are multiple fermentations per vintage, i.e. one early harvest and a late harvest and you therefore have different ingredient and/or nutrition information within the Vintage, you may require multiple QR codes per SKU per vintage. 

Example 4:

1 QR  code for multiple SKUs (distributor brand)

• If the same wine (same ingredients, same nutritional values) is used for multiple SKUs (e.g. distributor brands), then you might use 1 QR code for multiple SKUs.
