What is acceptable:
- It is acceptable to have a QR Code on the label that leads to nutritional information and a list of ingredients, HOWEVER, the current Scantrust e-label format is not accepted as it does not comply with Canadian Labeling requirements.
What is not acceptable:
- Showing the nutritional table and list of ingredients according to the European graphical and technical requirements
- Adding a nutrition statement such as 100ml = E297kj/ 71kcal on the physical label without also supplying the full nutrition table
Please ensure you are compliant before printing.
- Work Around - Available for Enterprise Clients ONLY:
- Create the digital Wine Labels
- Include the required information
- Both, the nutritional table and list of ingredients, must be formatted according to the Canadian graphical and technical requirements
- Save the images online (if you have already saved that information as an image on your website, a link to that image on your website works)
- Add a "Tag" called "Canadian Label" to your campaign
- Store the respective image URL under this "Tag" for each QR Code (SCM field update)
- Create a Landing page named: "Canadian Wine Label"
- Use the "image widget - link" function and then type @, in the drop-down that appears, select "Canadian Label"
- Configure your campaign in such a way that e-label information is shown in the EU, and your "Canadian Wine Label" landing page is shown in Canada
- Create the digital Wine Labels
