This hack could be used to store pretty images or a nutrition table. Here the steps:
1. Upload the image to a landing page using the picture widget
2. Then save the widget:
3. Then go to the same widget where you have just uploaded the image and click on 'add a picture with a link':
4. It opens and you will see a link
5. Copy the link and paste the link together with a screenshot for the picture into a reference document you may want to keep:
6. You can delete the images from the landing page editor, but still use the links in other areas of your company.
Up to two image links can be stored on your product
Product Configuration to store the links
- One in "Product URL" field.
- One in the "Description" field.
Landing Page Configuration to display the images when the product is scanned
In the landing page add one image widget for each URL you stored on the product - and click the "link" button.
Instead of adding the link, type the following:
{product_url}
{product_description}
This landing page will show the 2 images when the product is scanned.
