How can I generate a QR code in the GS1 structure ?

If you had created GS1 Digital Link compliant QR codes under the former U-label platform (i.e. with GTIN number and/or CPV and/or batch ID), please note that once migrated they will be converted into non-GS1 QR codes. Your existing GS1 QR codes (created on the former platform), however, remain valid and functional.

If you wish to recreate these QR codes as GS1-compliant on the new platform, please follow these steps:

• If you have a Business plan: use the duplicate functionality to create a new product/e-label and generate a new QR code with all the same information + the GTIN number as per this article:
  • e-label - Templates - Duplicating Existing e-label Data to a New Product
• If you have an Enterprise plan: generate a new QR code under the same product as the initial QR code you wish to replicate as per this article:
  • e-label - Editor - Product Information - Duplicating an Existing e-label Data to a New Product - Enterprise

By doing so, you will ensure that the QR codes generated under the former U-label platform and already printed on your labels remain valid. "
