When using Scantrust Landing Page Editors or E-label Editor, you will see a button: "Preview on Mobile"
This code should NEVER be printed! You should only ever print codes that you have downloaded.
There are a few key reasons for this preview function to exist:
- to allow the company user to test the different Logic flows without polluting the Scan Dashboard (scans of this code will never be displayed in the Dashboard).
--> for e-label, you can simulate the country and the language and see how it would look on your mobile phone
--> for the Enterprise Landing Page editor, the user can simulate the different scan results (what would you see if the code is Active, Inactive, Genuine, or fake)
Unfortunately, in the past, it has happened that a malicious employee of a company extracted this preview code with a "genuine" result and printed it on fake products. Because of this, now all preview codes are only valid for a maximum of 2 hours.
