For Example, if more than one company imports your product into the same country, you can list all of them in a single country-specific Imported by entry, separated by "or". Consumers scanning the e-label in that country will see every importer added to that single field.

This works for any business operator type (for example Distributed by or Bottled by); this article uses Imported by as the example.

Before you start

In the e-label editor, business operators are managed in the Business Operators section. Each operator has two levels:

• Default operator – the company name and address shown in every country, unless a country-specific entry exists.
• Country-specific operator – replaces the default for consumers in one selected country. This is where you can list multiple importers for the same country.

Add several importers for one country

1. Open your e-label and go to the Edit tab (pencil icon).
2. Scroll to the Business Operators section.
3. If you don't have an importer yet, click Add a business operator. Set Business operator type to Imported by and enter your default importer in Company name and address.
4. Under that operator, click Add an operator for a specific country.
5. In Country, select the country with several importers (for example, Belgium).

6. In the Company name field enter all importer names and addresses. You may want to separate them with "or" or a separate line between them:
   

    

7. Optional: add a website, email or phone number.
8. Click Update to save your changes.

To add a third importer, add another "or" line followed by its name and address. Line breaks and blank lines are kept exactly as typed in the e-label editor.

Tips and FAQ

Why list all importers in one entry? One entry per country keeps all importers together under a single Imported by heading, in the order you choose.

The word "or" isn't translated. The text field is shown as typed. If your e-label is displayed in several languages, consider a neutral separator such as "/" or write "or" in the country's main language.

What do consumers in other countries see? The default operator entered at the top of the section.

How do I remove a country-specific entry? Click the red × next to it, then click Update.
