Note: this process is only recommended for companies who utilize the codes in a non-serialized fashion - meaning all items of the same SKU have the same QR Code.
Step 1 - Create the Upload File
- This can be done via excel
- Open excel and save it as CSV file:
- Your "Code Association File" should have these headers:
extended_id | product |
- Under extended_id paste all the Extended IDs (paste special --> Values)
- Under product enter the SKU, this can be found in the SKU field in our platform:
- Here is how your Excel file needs to look:
Step 2 - Uploading the Association File
- Login to the Scantrust portal
- After logging in, click on the hamburger menu at the top left corner of the screen
- In the slide-out menu click on: Campaigns
- In the campaigns window, you can view all the campaigns that have previously been added
- Then, Click on the: "Option Panel" action button in your campaign on the top right of the campaign field
- You will arrive on the redirect screen inside the campaign settings
- In the campaign menu bar, click on: "Codes"
- Click on: upload 'SCM Data by CSV
- In the pop-up window click on: "Choose File"
- Select the file you wish to upload
- If your file type is CSV, which stands for comma-separated value, the delimiter is a comma and this is set by default
- If your file is using a different delimiter please input it
- NOTE: All templates provided on the ScanTrust platform are CSV files
- Click on: Next
- You are shown all the headers that can be found in the file you have just chosen to upload
- Select 'extended_id' as the unique identifier for your file
- Click on Start Upload
If all goes well, you will see the pop-up that tells you that all codes have been updated successfully.
