Getting started and getting the Upload Template
- Go to QR Manager and click on UPLOAD E-LABEL DATA
- you will be taken to the BULK UPLOAD home screen
1 - select the category
2 - select the language you will use in the form
3 - select the languages for which you require translations for your e-label
4 - click on DOWNLOAD THE EXCEL TEMPLATE
- the excel file has 7 tabs, but only 6 are important for you
- "TutorialHelp" tab - provides additional information on how to complete the required information
- "Product Information" tab - here you enter the product information
- "Ingredients" tab - here you enter the ingredient information
- "Nutrition" tab - here you enter the nutrition information
- "Pictorgams" tab - to select the pictograms that should be added per SKU
- "Images" tab - provides the reference table of what each pictogram ID stands for
Adding the Product Information to the Template
- the first column with the header sku must contain the correct reference to the product - in the portal it is referenced as SKU
- in column name type the display name (if different from the product is named and/or if it needs to be translated)
- under product_type you can choose from the drop-down list. Should your type not be available, please type the name and then press ENTER on your keyboard

net_quantity_ml is where you add the size of your container (or containers)
- sizes are entered in ml (milliliters)

Excel will send you an alert that there is a number that is stored as text, please ignore

alcohol_volume is entered as a percentage

serving_size_ml is entered in ml (milliliters)
- for sugar_content (sugar content), please choose from the drop-down list
- for origin, please choose from the drop-down list
- for producing_year, please type the year (YYYY)
- for vinatage_year, please type the year (YYYY)

grape_variety is a free form, please type the name of your wine

wine_colour, please choose from the drop-down

production method, please choose from the drop-down
- move to the next tab
Adding the Ingredients to the Template
- the first column with the header sku must contain the correct reference to the product - in the portal it is referenced as SKU
- there are 3 additional columns

aromatised_base_wine_name, pick from the drop-down list

ingredient (here you pick an ingredient from the drop-down list
--> note that they are already grouped into Categories like "Main Ingredient", "Preservative and antioxidants", "Acidity regulators", etc.)

is_allergen; here you can specify if a product is an Allergen or not. If the answer is YES, it will be clearly marked as such to the consumer.

Adding the Nutrition Information to the Template
- the first column with the header sku must contain the correct reference to the product - in the portal, it is referenced as SKU
- the remaining fields are straightforward, the name already implicates the unit of measurement:
- energy_kj
- energy_kcal
- fat_g
- saturates_g
- carbohydrate_g
- sugar_g
- protein_g
- salt_g

show_zero_values_as_negligible, is the field where you specify how to display a nutrition field that has 0 (zero) grams.
Adding Pictorgrams to the Template
- the first column with the header sku must contain the correct reference to the product - in the portal it is referenced as SKU
- for icon_id, pick the reference corresponding with the pictogram you would like to use
Adding Italian Recycling Information to the Template
- the first column with the header sku must contain the correct reference to the product - in the portal it is referenced as SKU
- for packaging. pick from the drop-down list
- there are 3 additional columns
- material, pick from the drop-down list

- For collection guidance, pick from the drop-down list

- The numbering is determined by the selection you made for the material. You can make changes if required.

- You can then enter a custom name for your packaging if required
Adding Free Text Fields to the Template

Uploading the Completed Template
- once the template is completed, return to the BULK UPLOAD home screen
1 - click on CHOOSE FILE and select the updated template
2 - select the language you will use in the form
3 - select the languages for which you require translations for your e-label
4 - click on NEXT
- in the next screen, you may:
- review the template's
- e-label category
- selected default input language
- translation languages
- review the template's
- File summary
- recaptures how many e-labels will be updated
- File summary
- Assign codes
NOTE: only generate codes if you don't have any yet. Otherwise, you will end up with multiple codes per product
- for each of the products that are updated with this template, you can choose to assign a code by turning the toggle to ON
- define an upload batch name (if you are assigning codes)
- click NEXT to proceed to upload the information
- review the template's
IMPORTANT, because:
- this template may be used for the initial creation of e-labels as well as for updates
- not every field is mandatory
THERE ARE NO CHECKS IN PLACE that will remind you if something was not updated.
Please review each e-label individually to ensure all the information is displayed in a satisfactory manner!
- if you choose to assign codes, you may download those codes as soon as the e-label data was updated successfully by clicking on DOWNLOAD THIS BATCH
- make sure you select the codes before you click on DOWNLOAD
