Alerts can be configured in the Campaign configuration. Following you'll find the steps to do it:
1. In the Alerts section, you will see 3 columns. On the left, you see all the alerts and their current activation Status:
- Blacklisted
- Counterfeit
- Off-Market
- After Sell By Date
- Anomaly Detection
- Already Consumed
- Exceptional Country
- Scan Count
- Inactive
- Session Count
2. In the middle, you see the description of the currently selected alert. Depending on the alert, there may be additional customizations for the alert selected.
3. On the right, you see the list of people with access to this campaign. For each Alert, you may choose who should be notified.
Descriptions of Alerts:
- Blacklisted --> email notification whenever a blacklisted code was scanned (available for all Scantrust Codes).
- Counterfeit --> email notification whenever a counterfeit code was scanned (available only for Scantrust Secure Codes).
- Off-Market --> email notification whenever a code was scanned outside its intended market (available only if the 'intended_market" SCM field was configured in the campaign and is populated)
- NOTE: intended_market - the intended market input must be according to the ISO alpha 2 standard in lowercase.
- After Sell By Date --> email notification whenever an expired code is scanned (available only if the 'sell_by_date" SCM field was configured in the campaign and is populated).
- Anomaly Detection - email notification whenever a blacklisted code was scanned (configurable parameters: Number of scans during a specified time period outside a specified distance from each outer).
- Already Consumed (available only if the 'is_consumed" SCM field was configured in the campaign and is populated).
- Exceptional Country (configurable - receive notification if your codes are scanned in one or multiple specific countries (maybe somewhere you don't have permission to sell them for some reason).
- Scan Count (Configurable - receive alerts after a code has been scanned more than the specified number of times. Additional, option configuration: automatically blacklist the code after that specified number, for further details please check this article: Alerts - Automatic Blacklisting).
- Inactive (available for all Scantrust Codes)
- Session Count (available for all Scantrust Codes - Session count is slightly different than Scan count, because it accounts for the same person scanning the same code multiple times - the purpose of this alert is the improved interpretation of multiple scans by the same app - as it does not inadvertently automatically blacklist a code just because someone scans it repeatedly or attempts to authenticate it repeatedly)
Activating/Deactivating Alerts:
To change the alert notification settings, simply select the specific alert (please make sure that the alert you attempt to edit is highlighted) and ensure the alert is turned "ON" or "OFF", and then check or uncheck the person who should be receiving the alert.
